ABOUT DOTTIE

Music has been an integral part of Dottie’s life since the age of five. A Macon native, she was ranked number one in the state several times by the Georgia Music Teachers Association throughout her childhood. Her repertoire includes a year abroad at the London College of Music and various international solo recitals, including the Parish Church of St. Michael, Highgate, London, England and with the Seibu Group in Tokyo, Japan.

While a corporate career and motherhood shifted Dottie’s priorities in the decades that followed, the music didn’t stop for long. In 2012, she found her way back to the piano to record her first album –The Christmas Collection. Later she released her second album, Cool Beans, an artful arrangement of timeless classics.
